Silly me

I got myself all stress up for no reason! Silly me thought that today is the Open Day for pwc! Not until I got to the office only I realize I got the day wrong! Ah!!!! And because of the weather I didn't feel well in office and had a bad headache. Lovely Ann offered me paracetamol, really kind of her. Bless her.

Thanks to my silliness, I got to know Glamour mag is giving out Benefit freebies! So happy!!!! For only £2! I love the pore minimizer :) Still thinking should i get more? Hahaha

Postagram with June

I'm always happy when some share the same liking as me :). I've promised June that I'll make her a Postagram for her dear old friend (not age old, but someone she met since the friend is a baby...aww). The system failed in office, so I have to screen print and do it at home. So glad that I make 2 person's day :) In fact I made 3 person happy. Ami is back and I finally managed to give her Tinkle Bell cookies! Love it when she love it :)

But endorsing-D wasn't good at all. I got 90+ done before noon, and somehow I just get lots of call? And have to letters! Grrr! Hence not meeting 200 target! Boooooo!

Restructuring

The government decided to privatize part of the company, leaving staffs the choice of remaining as public servant under FP or move to privatized Accounts. Why my job always end with situation. When I was PPA NHS, they also undergo restructuring and staffs got redundant. I can still remember clearly how stressful was that to them. Lucky this time they have an option, stay or change.

Yesterday during lunch, Rachel 'summon' me to see her after I'm done. My heart stopped for a second, It must be about wrong pay in slip! OMG!' To further establish my suspicious, Kerry-Ann came out from the room before my turn (she counter signed). The minute I sat down, it's all about the restructuring. Phew!!! Company have to reduce our wage. Luckily I won't be affected as my contract ends at the right time at the right place :))))

Tired!

Today has been a tiring day. That's the effect of not having enough walk since working :( Spent quite some time in Murano for their glass products. Managed to find some little accessories that are within my budget. Saw so many pretty vase and cutlery but it's totally OMG expensive. If I'm bloody rich one day, might just fly here and buy all my glass products haha.

Spent €65 on dinner and it was a funy one, at Madonna near Raolti. Nearly fell asleep in water bus back to hotel. That just show how tired I am.

Bean the Border Collie

In a way I'm glad I missed the bus, if not I won't be able to play with Bean the 16year old Border Collie. She is amazing. You can the way she looks at her master, he is her everything. Poorly she suffers from arthritis. :( must be painful for her, but she still behaves actively for her master :) can't imagine how devastating will the family be when she leaves them one day :(

Venice day one

Omg this is such a crowded place! To be honest don't think I will want to come second time. No doubt I love the shopping hahaha. So many cute stuffs! Especially glass made items. Love them. Got myself a perfect fit ring today. Not the best but I like it.

Water bus service is quite efficient. But I hate the sound it makes when it docks. Annoying! And the whole days journey is giving me a after effect. I still feel wavy lying in my bed.

Looking forward to tomorrow's outing. Shopping at Murano for glass :) and visits! And by the way I love Italian pasta!!!!!! Squid ink. Yummy! Al Dante

Today's work is not as bad as I thought it would be. Just the weather is ridiculously horrible!!!! So heavy! So cold! So wet! What a way for Phil to celebrate his 24th bday haha

Busy busy busy

Lately's work has been mental!!! It's just impossible to finish everything!!! Just don't get it why I got both job that requires the most time :(

And weather wasn't the best either. Luckily we had some sunshine yesterday. And I spotted this little westie in the garden with his owner. How sweet :)

Treasure hunt

So happy to found a little gem at work. Something that will never ever be reprinted - stamp of Prince Charles and late Princess Diana! Woohoo! Love little treasures :)

Work has been really busy lately. Due to backlog from last week! I was literately working like a bullet train, choo choo!!! And finally got it almost up to date :) ciao corrie. Another reason I worked so fast was I don't have anyone to talk to right now. Haih.. Kerry-Ann macam not same channel, as compared to ami my old neighbor. Anyway, it might be a good thing to keep me focus with my job haha.

York with peeps

Was great to travel around with friends, especially friends you've known for 9years! OMG! Aging! Haha. Lun and Kenny are good companions. Especially when come to food tasting, Lun is the person to bring along! She is just incredible! :P

Highlight of the trip are: super buys in outlet, Betty's, Blue Bicycle and Peter Rabbit store! Definitely going back again, with mum maybe. And try to squeeze her wallet to get a Mulberrry bag LOL

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to myself :). When you grow older, I start to appreciate little things in life. The first thing I saw in the morning was birthday wish from Tok, all the way from Malaysia. And later I read mesg from Natalya from Russia. It's these lovely friends that make my life different.

The day got better with flowers from MK :). And he did the rose flower arrangement for me. Love love love. Later in the evening, my lovely sister made me free manicure hahaha. Although it wasn't perfect, but I'm so please to have them in my life, in my special day. Love them all.

Spring Snow

Today's weather is a huge joke! Woke up to a rainy day in Leeds with sleek all over the place. The bus was running late due to the weather and by the time we entered Morley area, my jaw dropped! Whole place was covered by snow!!! Thick white blanket of snow!!! And the bus had to detour to avoid certain route which made Hannah panic hahaha (it was really funny at that time). We managed to enter office 15min late, quite impressive myself. But the walk to office was horrendous! It's totally like what I experienced in Brussels in 2010 the snow storm this swept across Europe. Just can't understand why it snowed in Spring! Especially after 2 weeks of beautiful weather. Everything came so fast and went so quickly. As if it never happened. By the time I finished work, most of the snow melted and disappeared! Scary.

Picture of the day definitely must include SNOW. And I bought a box of shortbread inconjuction with Queen's Diamond Jubilee hahahaha. Got 2 more different boxes design to collect :)) love love love

Bus crash!

I couldnt believe my ears when I heard the big bang! It sounded exactly like in those movies when collision happened. It's bad enough with such slow speed (I assume, it's just right in front of the traffic lights). My first reaction was poor driver, he will be writing a long long report for this accident. Really can't tell who's mistake was that. Either one of them must have tried to beat the red light, causing the whole accident. Feel sorry for both parties. Funniest thing was, immediately and with great mutual understanding everyone got off the bus, knowing that the bus will be there for quite some time to sort things out. Hopefully a mutual resolution will resolve the whole thing.

Kirkstall Food Market Deli

Had a good time at Kirkstall although we didnt have a good start with the weather. It's a really small market, looks more like canteen day than a market, but still few stalls over there are really interesting. And one of it is the dessert stall. One of the moist-est carrot cake and chocolate brownies. Yummy.

Had a walk around Kirkstall and bump into little June the corgi who's 18months old. Utter cuteness. She walked and suddenly decided to have a rest, then just lie on the grass. Cute! But she's really camera shy thou.

A decision has to be made...

Few days ago, a photo of my late Grandaunt woke me up to realize what is important to me. It was a old CNY photo taken by her family. I had not seen her for 2 years at that time, and I was shocked to see the condition she was in at that time. What I saw is loneliness and aging. That moment I miss my grandma very very much, and I believe she has the same feeling as me.

From there I've decided, if I can't get anything here, home is where I want to go. To go back to my beloved family members.

Work kuey teow ever!

Omg never I've complained about kuey teow because it's my favorite ingredient. But this one is soooooooooo out! Sooooooooo salty!!!! And no 'wok hei' at all! And I have to pay £33 for the whole meal! Gosh! First and last. Adios. And get ready for my feedback card folks hahaha
